Suppliers and services from third parties are fundamental to our operations and our supply chain policy is:

• Materials and processes that have a lesser environmental impact will be afforded an advantage when undertaking our businesses.
• Recognise the environmental and social policies of our suppliers.
• Measure and analyse supplier performance with particular respect to environmental improvements
• Review supplier performance and improve environmental risks associated with services provided by suppliers.
• Encourage a collaborative approach when working with suppliers.

In addition, there is an obligation on all of our suppliers to ensure that their employees have a legal right to work in the UK and that their employment practices comply with Equal Opportunities Act.

Initiatives

To reduce the environmental impact from transporting materials to site by being more accurate with our volumes, thus reducing waste at source and reducing the environmental impact of site deliveries.

We intend to enhance our understanding of the supply chain to improve sustainability and social objectives.

Performance

Our Supply Manager holds regular meetings with our key suppliers to discuss all aspects of performance, including cost, quality, service, Health and Safety and corporate and social responsibility. These topics and results are then used to compare against similar suppliers of goods or services and key areas of improvement are identified and targets set.

Supply chain agreements are set up as a result of such measures being used in the selection process.
